Who writes it, how it gets checked, and who pays. Nobody pays.
Every guide on LoveQuarters is written by one person and reviewed against the same checklist before it publishes. This page is the checklist, written out, so you can hold the site to it.
It also covers the part most sites bury, which is money. There is none coming in from anyone whose product could appear in a guide.
Who WritesThe Guides
Ian David writes every page. There is no rotating pool of freelancers and no content agency. More about that here.
One writer means the voice stays consistent and any mistake is traceable to exactly one desk. That is the tradeoff, and it is a deliberate one.
How ClaimsGet Checked
Numbers get sourced. Where a guide cites a figure on range of motion, average body measurements, or research on couples, the source is listed at the bottom of that guide and it links out to the original.
Sources are limited to government agencies, universities, and peer reviewed journals. Every one of them is opened and read before it is cited. One candidate paper was dropped during this process after it turned out to have been retracted, which is exactly why the step exists.
The MedicalLine
LoveQuarters does not publish medical content. Not conditions, not treatments, not contraception, not diagnoses. Guides stay on technique, comfort, and communication.
That line is not a legal hedge, it is a competence boundary. A writer is not a clinician and the site does not pretend otherwise.
MoneyAnd Independence
No brand has paid for a mention on this site. There are no affiliate links, no sponsored posts, and no paid product placement anywhere in the guides.
If that ever changes, this page changes first and every affected guide carries a label at the top. A disclosure that arrives after the fact is not a disclosure.
Corrections
Errors get fixed in the page itself rather than in a note at the bottom, and the review date at the top of the guide is updated. Report one through the contact page.
A guide that turns out to be substantially wrong gets rewritten, not patched.
